Nuclear energy facilities
At Voltag LLC, we manufacture guaranteed power supply systems for DC and AC, consisting of semiconductor converters and auxiliary units and modules, including battery banks and distribution devices.
The produced charging-rectifying devices and operating current cabinets, voltage inverters, systems and uninterruptible power supply units serve to provide electrical energy of specified quality to consumers of the first, second, and third power supply categories, both AC and/or DC, in case of disconnection or degradation of the incoming power source, as well as to improve the load power source quality by maintaining its characteristics within customer-defined limits.
At nuclear energy facilities, DC and AC guaranteed power supply systems are classified as reliable electrical supply systems for normal operation (RES NO) and/or emergency power supply systems (EPS), with the main electricity consumers of such systems being equipment classified by impact on safety as class 2, 3, and/or 4. Power disruption to these consumers may trigger events leading to accidents, and system failures may pose risks to human life and health and cause significant damage to the national economy.
